Hillsboro is a town with a strong sense of community. Getting to know your neighbors is easy because there is never a shortage of fun things to do in the area. To the west is the coast, while to the east is Mount Hood, both less than two hours away by car. Residents go to Mount Hood for skiing and snowboarding in the winter and hiking, swimming, hunting, and fishing in the spring and summer.
